Bobby's roots stem from Fort Worth Texas
where he grew up surrounded by music. His Father wrote songs,
played guitar and was the biggest influence not only in his
childhood but also with his two brothers and three sisters.
They would have their family gatherings and Bobby was always
the "star of the show".
His talents were developed as a young man
"singing his heart out" in church and by the time Bobby was
sixteen, he was singing lead and playing rhythm guitar in a
local band performing at rodeos, VFW's and street dances.
He continued developing his musical talent in
the mid 80's while playing in the clubs of the Dallas/Fort
Worth area. This Texas sound lead him to writing songs,
recording and producing his first demo in 1990 at the Dallas
Sound Lab Studios.
Bobby has found himself having to wear
several hats in his career, along with his music he began his
driving career in the late 70's, then moving on to the bigger
trucks in the 80's and later became a "tanker yanker". He's
been in every state in the contiguous United States and
Canada.
Today Bobby states, "I'm very proud of my CD
project 'Silent Movie' and next to my children, it's the
greatest thing I've ever accomplished! " He had the
opportunity to work with some of Nashville's finest; from Bob
Dellaposta - Producer, the best musicians, to songwriter Dusty
Drake. It takes a quality group like this and they took Bobby
to a new level.
Bobby Broome is a name that will be popping
up in many facets. His song "You And Me" was picked for a
movie, and "(I Pray There's A) Honky Tonk In Heaven" from the
Silent Movie album is being played in Europe and distributed
throughout the world.
Be sure to listen to Bobby's song samples.
With his warm heartfelt soulful style, he shares his love for
God, family, Country and his need to help others. This is what
drives him "to push upward in his musical journey" and "to
make him who he is - a man who cares".
