Rick Riner Rick is a country boy at heart,
being a child of the South, he grew up listening to his father
Garnell who played music with many of the Grand Ol' Opry
stars. Music was in his blood so he started performing at an
early age on a live broadcast on WJAT radio in Swainsboro,
Georgia with none other than Hank William's Jr. who was a kid
also back then. With all of Rick's early experience he landed
an opportunity to tour with Bob Hope doing USO shows in the US
and Europe in the early 1970s.
Rick Riner is someone you'll remember because
he has a unique way of capturing his audience and keeping them
right in the palm of his hands throughout his entire
performance. When you meet him his presence fills the room
with his warmness and personality.
You Hurt Me is an album containing four of
his original songs and a new duet interpretation of Eric
Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" plus several all time country
standards.
Rick won the Country Music Association's
award for the state of Florida's "Best Male Vocalist" and took
home several awards from the National CMA's show in Las Vegas.
He continues to perform regularly in a variety of venues,
several cruise ships, and thanks to the international
popularity of his brand of country music, he's looking forward
to touring England and Europe.
